after 6 years teaching TRANSESOPHAGEAL echo (TEE) to over 1700 clinicians from different levels of experience and backgrounds (emergency medicine, intensive care, anesthesiology, surgery & cardiology), we have been able to refine a unique approach to tee training.

the same multidisciplinary group of expert educators behind The Resuscitative TEE workshop, are now able to provide individualized training that is tailored to fit the learner’s needs. Educational Programs Currently Offered

Fundamentals of TEE (One full-day)

Content: similar curriculum of the resuscitative tee workshop, delivered privately.

target learner: novice of TEE from any training/specialty background. a clinician with either minimal or no tee experience who wants to develop foundational knowledge and skills to perform tee in any clinical setting, with a focus in resuscitative and critical care applications.

Advanced TEE for Emergency & Critical Care (One full-day)

Content: a curriculum oriented to teach advanced applications of tee in emergency and critical care environments

target learner: a clinician from any training/specialty background with practice in acute care, who already has a foundation of tee (understanding of basic resuscitative views and its common applications).for instance, a clinician who took the resuscitative tee workshop or went through a similar training and wants to develop additional skills for specific applications within the scope of tee in critical care echocardiography.

Introduction to Perioperative TEE (One full-day)

Content: foundational knowledge and skills to perform tee in the perioperative setting.

target learner: novice of TEE practicing in anesthesiology. clinician with either minimal or no tee experience who wants to develop foundational knowledge and skills to perform tee in the PERIOPERATIVE setting.

All courses include

zoom conference call with trainee to establish needs and optimize individualized curriculum

competency certificate with attestation for proctored examinations

all courses are scheduled individually with options from monday to saturday. we have a limited number of dates available each month, but we do our best to find a date that fits participant’s schedules.

AMA PRA CATEGORY 1 CREDITS™ are available upon request for most private training sessions depending on the level of customization of the program.

FACULTY

A group of multidisciplinary faculty from Emergency Medicine, Anesthesiology, CARDIOLOGY, CARDIAC, PULMONARY AND SURGICAL/TRAUMA CRITICAL CARE, who have significant clinical practice and teaching experience with this application. our faculty include many of the world leaders of this emerging modality who HAVE significant experience in the use of tee/toe in acute care and perioperative environments.
