THE RESUSCITATIVE TEE PROJECT’S FELLOWSHIP IN RESUSCITATIVE TEE EDUCATION
The Resuscitative TEE Project is thrilled to offer a year-long fellowship to a resident or fellow interested in ultrasound, critical care, and resuscitation.
The Resuscitative TEE Project is an independent collaboration of multidisciplinary leaders in emergency medicine, intensive care, cardiology, and anesthesiology. Its mission is to advance, disseminate knowledge, and promote excellence in the use of focused transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) in emergency and critical care settings. The project aims to improve the quality of care and patient outcomes through clinical research, education, and multi-institutional collaboration.
This fellowship will aim to develop the technical and educational skills of emerging leaders in resuscitation through involvement in the many facets of The Resuscitative TEE Project. The fellow will have the opportunity to get involved in various activities, including the international TEE registry, the forums of the resuscitative TEE collaborative, the development and submission of manuscripts adding to resuscitative TEE literature, and with the educational arm of the Project, The Resuscitative TEE Workshop ®.
Eligibility
The applicant should be a resident or fellow with a strong interest in critical care, resuscitation, and ultrasound and exhibit leadership and organizational skills.
Eligible applicants must be entering or continuing in a training program through the July 2024 - June 2025 academic year. Eligible training programs include, but are not limited to:
Emergency Medicine
Anesthesia
Cardiovascular Disease
Cardiothoracic Surgery
Critical Care Medicine

Responsibilities
Attend monthly video conference meetings with Resuscitative TEE Project leadership.
Promote an environment of inclusion among the staff, administration, faculty, and participants of the Resuscitative TEE Project and amongst faculty and participants of the Resuscitative TEE workshop.
Assist with developing content and managing digital media platforms for the Resuscitative TEE Project.
